Chris Brown becomes youngest artist to own all of his masters in new deal with RCA

Chris Brown just signed an extension with RCA, a license agreement granting the artist ownership of his master recordings. Chris Brown has become the youngest artist to own his masters, doing so at the age of 29. This is a major accomplishment and historic moment for both the young artist and the music industry.

The Grammy award-winning artist from Virginia originally started his career with Jive before moving over to RCA in 2012.

Following the release of a video for his new single “Undecided,” which is produced by Scott Storch and Avedon, fans are anticipating the release of his ninth studio album, Indigo. The video features EmpireĀ  star and singer, Serayah.
